SPECTRUM WORLDWIDE TO OVERSEE STANDARD CHARTERED MARATHON SINGAPORE (SCMS) OPERATIONS FOR SECOND YEAR
Singapore, 5 July, 2011 - Spectrum Worldwide announced today that it has been awarded the contract to oversee all operational aspects, including race operations, logistics, and volunteer management services, for the Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore 2011 by the Singapore Sports Council (SSC) for the second year in a row. The SCMS 2011 will be held on Sunday, 4 December.
The scope of Spectrum’s work for SCMS 2011 includes all parts of the route management, such as the Start Points, Finish Point, Athlete Welfare Area, Baggage Storage Facility, Corporate Hospitality, and Carnival Area.
2011 marks the fifth year that the SSC has appointed Spectrum Worldwide to oversee a portion of Singapore’s marquee running event which aims to attract a new record of 70,000 runners this year.
